About GridCheck

GridCheck is building a simple outage guarantee for Texas homeowners and renters: when a qualifying power outage is verified against utility data, a fixed payout moves automatically.

The idea grew from a familiar Texas problem. Winter Storm Uri showed how quickly lost power becomes lost food, lost work, hotel bills, and a very expensive week. Heat domes and cold fronts keep making grid stress part of normal life.

GridCheck is being built by a 20-year commodity and risk markets veteran who brokered ERCOT power. DFW and Oncor territory come first.
